Supervision

Student safety at Clyde Creek Primary School is our highest priority and the safe and appropriate supervision of students is an important element of our duty of care to students. Part of this duty is ensuring parents and students are aware of our student supervision arrangements before and after school.

Before school: School grounds are supervised at 8.30am

After school: School grounds are supervised until 3.15pm

Students on school grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they are attending a before or after school care program or supervised extracurricular activity).

Parents/carers are requested to ensure that students do not attend school outside of these supervised times unless they are attending before or after school care, or a pre-arranged supervised activity (i.e. sports practice).

Families are encouraged to contact Big Childcare for more information about the before and after school care facilities available to our school community, or Clyde Creek Primary school on 9860 0800 if you would like any further information about our student supervision arrangements.

For a copy of our school’s Yard Duty and Supervision Policy please contact the school office. This policy includes Example School’s student supervision arrangements across the school day, including before and after school.

Annual Report

Annual Reports are completed each year by the Department of Education and all education statutory bodies (schools). It is a legislative requirement for all schools to prepare an Annual Report for the School Community.

The Annual Report Discusses the school demographic including achievement, engagement, wellbeing and productivity.
There is also a performance summary in regards to student outcomes and a financial report.

Strategic Plan

The strategic plan is the schools statement to its community about what it stands for and what it intends to do over the next four years to improve student outcomes. It sets out the school’s direction, its goals, targets and key strategies for improvement. The strategic plan is available to the school community to reflect on the outcomes, celebrate achievements, and identify effective strategies as well as areas for improvement for the next strategic planning period.

Annual Implementation Plan

The annual implementation plan describes how the key improvement strategies in the school strategic plan and other significant projects will be put into operation during the year and how they will be monitored. This document is used to plan and communicate the work for the coming year and how this will lead to achieving the identified goals and targets with the school community.
