Languages Education, aligned to the Victorian Curriculum, focuses on students acquiring communication skills in a language other than English. Learning languages broadens students’ horizons about the personal, social, cultural and employment opportunities that are available in an increasingly interconnected world.

Learning through Language

  • Developing knowledge, skills and understanding to communicate in the language they are learning
  • Understanding the relationship between language, culture and learning
  • Developing Intercultural Capabilities

At Clyde Creek Primary School, students will learn Spanish.

Español is the second most spoken language globally, with more than 20 Spanish-speaking countries worldwide.
